"Democracy is in danger and corruption has reached a dangerous level in the DRC" dixit Azarias Ruberwa.
Statement by Azarias Ruberwa, former vice-president, in an exclusive interview to radiookapi.net the three year rule of Joseph Kabila. Azarias Ruberwa me think a lot remains to be done and that zero tolerance is still a speech intention.
In an interview about thirty minutes radiookapi.net, Azarias Ruberwa acknowledges that some progress has been achieved since 2006, the year of inauguration of Joseph Kabila. These advances relate to the fair implementation of part of the institutional arsenal. But the former vice president believes that much remains to be done on the security front and elsewhere. For him, democracy is in danger when the scope of journalists, rights activists and other human opponents is reduced: "We have political parties, journalists, activists of human rights. When you look at their discretion, how far policy or opponent can express themselves without getting into problems in return?
It is this level that we have a problem. There has here and there, perils "

Azarias Ruberwa I also think that corruption gangrene Congolese society. For him, zero tolerance is a discourse of intent: "Corruption becomes quite dangerous when it becomes virtually institutionalized. He does not believe that political action current of zero tolerance is now to stop gangrene.
Faced with this array critical Ruberwa called on the government to further intensify efforts in the future.
